i just finished reading is everyone hanging out without me? by mindy kaling. i really love mindy kaling, and there were parts of this book that were very funny, but in the end, i felt like it was a poor man’s bossypants. it’s great if you want a quick, enjoyable read, but don’t expect to be laughing so hard that people are giving you weird looks, a la bossypants.
next up: to be sung underwater by tom mcneal.
I also recently read and enjoyed this book! It’s very cute and funny…agreed that it’s not laugh out loud hysterical, but it’s very fast and fun and I definitely recommend it.
