D is for Date
I went on a date last night with a guy I met on OKCupid. He’s a Ph.D. candidate in film studies, so let’s call him Dr. Movie. It was my first time going out with someone I met online, so it was a little awkward for a while, but it ended up being a really good time. We went to Seva for Restaurant Week because he is also a vegetarian, which I believe is the first time I’ve ever gone on a date with another vegetarian, and then went and saw The Artist at the Michigan, which I cannot recommend highly enough. Funny, cute, and there’s an adorable dog. Then he walked me back to my apartment and we chatted and we have a lot in common, and when we got back to my place he kissed me goodnight and went home. I liked him and I hope he calls me to go out again soon, because I think that this could maybe go somewhere. A promising first date is always so fun :)
